I have a long list of things I would do if I had billions of dollars. Those things do not often include fancy cars or fancy houses.
One thing that I remember seeing as a kid is a Gary Larsen cartoon featuring an "Inconvenience store". The scene was set with a kid staring at a shelf 15 feet above his head.
I would build an inconvenience store.
Various discussions have been had on reddit about what such a store would sell. Most of the suggestions would result in angry or disappointed customers. I have a different vision.
For me, it would be an exercise in design. Designing everything in such a way so that the price is inconvenience, yet the customer leaves happy. Over the next 40 weeks or so, I will detail some of the ideas I have for creating such a masterpiece.
